Mom\'s Potato Carrot Burger Hot Dish - One meal complete!
My mom left me a little recipe box with favorite foods I ate as a child. I didn't find it until she had passed. True to Midwestern spirit this is a hot dish that is quick and easy to make. And there were no measurements on the card... this is like scalloped potatoes with burger... quite good!
Preheat oven to 325
Slice potatoes and dice the onion, grate the carrots. Brown the burger and then layer all in a buttered casserole dish. Meat, spuds, onion, carrots repeat.
Mix 1 can of cream of celery soup with 1 cup milk, pour over mixture.
Bake in oven until edges browned and its bubbly. Serve with a salad and a biscuit.
